Curame Tea
Sweet, healing, calming.

This recipe has been tried and tested by myself and a few family members, even my 4 year old child, It is not just for adults. I was feeling sickie some what of a soar throat and stuffy nose, since we have the whole situation with Covid19 going any time I feel anything close to a cold I try right away to make it go away. So this day I felt under the weather I thought, Hmm back when medicine was not a big thing our Ancestors created home made remedies maybe I can mix some spices and come up with one myself. I actually enjoy creating my own seasonings to cook with and the day I tried this tea was the started to start mixing spices and creating teas that can make my family and I feel better without having to run to OTC medicine.
Caution: If you have allergic reactions to any of these ingredients, Do not try!.
Curame Tea
Is simple to make and you can always get creative and add your own favorite touches to it. I sometimes add Mint leaves. The amount of each spice depends on the amount of tea you are trying to make. For a normal serving of 1 to 3 cups of teas I use.
1 to 2 16 Oz bottles of Water
3 to 5 sticks of Cinnamon
3 to 5 Bay leaves
5 to 7 Anise stars
1 to 3 Rosemary fresh bunch
1 stick of Ginger.
1 Red Apple
1 Sliced Sweet Orange (optional)
1 to 2 Tea spoons of Raw Honey (optional)
Directions
Boil ingredients on low heat for about 10 to 15 mins.
Shut off fire and let the tea rest for about 5 to 8 mins. You can serve on Ice as well, it is just better hot or warm.
For the rosemary the more you add the stronger the taste. For easier taste use just one single bunch or about a few pinches of dried Rosemary.
The Ginger add extra if you love Ginger. Make sure to open the Ginger or mash a little. Same with the Apple and Orange cut into slices or in half.
Add the Raw Honey to your tastebuds happiness just please add it right before drinking.
